Earlier today, May 14th, Hugh Jackman attended the Singapore premiere for X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Fan Bingbing and Peter Dinklage – who play Blink and Peter Trask in the movie, respectively – were also on-hand to show support. You can watch a short interview with Hugh from the event below, in which he talks about the Kaya toast he earlier posted on Instagram. I’ll add more videos if they become available.
On May 10th, X-Men: Days Of Future Past finally made its world premiere in New York City. Hugh Jackman was, of course, in attendance, along with its massive cast from the franchise: Jennifer Lawrence, Ellen Page, James McAvoy, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Peter Dinklage, Evan Peters, Nicholas Hoult, Shawn Ashmore, and Omar Sy. You can check out a few red carpet interviews below:
The X-Men: Days Of Future Past New York press conference was held on May 9th, and Hugh Jackman was in attendance to talk about his upcoming film. Although there is yet no video on the panel, you can listen to the entire interview right here. Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Ellen Page, Patrick Stewart, and Peter Dinklage were also on-hand, and each give some great insight into the movie — including working with one another.
To help promote X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Hugh Jackman and fellow X-Men costars visited the “Good Morning America” set on May 8th. Also in attendance: Patrick Stewart, Ellen Page, James McAvoy, and producer Lauren Shuler Donner. They, of course, talk about the upcoming film, including Hugh returning to the X-Men franchise alongside the cast from the original trilogy. Jon Hamm also paid a visit to Hugh at one point, as shown in pictures added to the gallery. You can view the video of the GMA interview by clicking on the image below:
To finish off the press tour for The Wolverine, Hugh Jackman headed to one final destination: Beijing, China. On October 14th, he attended a press conference for the James Mangold-directed film and was interviewed in a solo panel with press on hand. You can check out the 20-minute video below, which is not dubbed over, so English-speaking fans might find it of interest. He, of course, talks about the film, including nice insight on (im)mortality — and how his mortality makes playing Wolverine pretty difficult.
Hugh Jackman the jet-setter arrived in Zurich, Switzerland earlier today (September 28th) for the 2013 Zurich Film Festival. His first business was the Prisoners press conference, which also welcomed director Denis Villeneuve, producer Kira Davis, and co-star Melissa Leo (who is serving as a juror at the festival). You can watch video of the panel below, which is entirely in English. Hugh talks about the weight of playing Keller Dover and even brings up a fanciful fact: that he literally wouldn’t exist without Switzerland, as it’s where his parents met when his mom was just 19-years-old.
Following the frenzy of the Prisoners photo call in San Sebastian, Spain, Hugh Jackman took part in a press conference for the film. Like the earlier event, he was again joined with director Denis Villeneuve and producer Kira Davis to talk about Prisoners. You can find the full video of the 42-minute panel below; however – sorry, English-speakers! – it is dubbed over in Spanish.
Hugh Jackman appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last night to promote his new film, Prisoners (which is now in theaters). You can watch the video below (or visit the site; he comes in just after the second commercial break. Talking about his tough guy persona, Hugh recalled a time when he was involved in a fight — in rollerblades. Be sure to tune in after they go to commercial, as he and Jimmy do a hilarious skit while arm wrestling. Hugh drops some lines you never thought you’d hear him say.
Although I don’t have an entire video of the appearance, the entire cast of Prisoners was on “Katie” today to talk about the film. (You can check out numerous videos below.) There’s a lot of serious discussion on the subject matter of the film – especially because so many are mothers and fathers – but the interview is especially worth checking out for the cast members’ camaraderie and chemistry. Plus, find out which of the cast is voted Biggest Clown and Most Likely to Eat at the Crafts Service Table. Hugh Jackman appears in all the videos.
Earlier today, Hugh Jackman stopped by the SiriusXM Studios to appear on “The Opie & Anthony Show.” Although they talk about Prisoners (and the dark nature of it), there’s also some great chat on Hugh’s acting school, The Prestige, and his fitness — including a helpful hint on when’s the best time of the day to eat a lot of food. As an added bonus, Dominique Ansel – the creator of the famous Cronut – stopped by, allowing Hugh to try the donut-croissant hybrid. If you just want to see that part, you can watch it right here; or check out the entire interview below.
